It brings me great pleasure to engage in lifestyle, culture, and art; and to become aware of the fantastic and inspiring events happening all around. Such as the recently announced sequence of two concerts named “From Dawn Till Dusk” by the renowned Croatian cellist, Ana Rucner.
The concerts will be held on the 21st of June, marking the first Day of Summer and the World Day of Music. The first concert is scheduled to be on the mountain Srđ above Dubrovnik (South Croatia) in the Amphitheatre ‘Excelsa realestate” at dawn (5:10hrs CET). The second concert will be in the small Istrian town of Medulin at the archeological site “Vižula” at dusk (20:54hrs CET). I know Medulin very well but I was never at “Vižula” site. Unfortunatelly I cannot be there on the 21st, but please let me know how it was!
The idea behind these amazing concerts is to connect the beauty of nature with the beauty of music, culture, and fashion. A few words about Ana: She was born in Zagreb, Croatia. Her parents are both classically trained musicians. Her mother, Snježana, is a cellist and a soloist with the Croatian National Theater, while her father, Dragan, is a violist and a soloist with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. Her brother, Mario, is a violist as well. Ana is one of the most innovative classical artists in Croatia to emerge over the past several decades and has received numerous national and international awards. Rucner is one of Croatia’s most successful performers, and her shows are well received all over the world. She has toured many countries around the world, spreading the joy of music and the genius of some of the greatest composers of all times in her modern and unique style.
